Website Terms and Conditions
Updated and Effective date: 31 July 2026
1. About these Terms
This website, www.mydetoxify.com.au, is operated by Biogenics Pty Ltd trading as My Detoxify (“My Detoxify”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions apply when you:
- access or browse our website;
- create an account;
- purchase products from us;
- participate in a promotion; or
- otherwise use our website or services.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect when the revised terms are published on this website. Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to an order already accepted by us unless required by law or agreed with you.
2. Eligibility to place an order
You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to place an order.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during checkout is accurate, complete and current.
3. Product information
We take reasonable care to provide accurate product descriptions, ingredient information, images, prices and availability.
Product packaging, labels, ingredients or presentation may occasionally change. Before using a product, always review the information and directions provided on the product label supplied with your order.
Images are provided for general illustration. Colours, packaging and product appearance may differ slightly from what appears on your screen.
Plant-based and naturally sourced ingredients may vary slightly in colour, taste, aroma, texture or consistency between batches. Minor natural variation does not necessarily indicate a product defect.
4. Product use and health information
Information on this website is provided for general product and educational purposes. It is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition.
Products should be used according to their individual labels, directions and warnings.
Before using a product, seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- take prescription medication;
- have a medical condition;
- are considering a product for a child;
- have known allergies or sensitivities; or
- are uncertain whether a product is suitable for you.
Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment because of information published on this website.
In an emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
5. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase products from us. An automated order-confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- pricing or product information contains an obvious error;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse;
- delivery is unavailable to the nominated address;
- an order exceeds reasonable purchase limits; or
- accepting the order would breach a legal or regulatory requirement.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled product using the original payment method.
An order is accepted when we dispatch it or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance.
6. Prices, GST and currency
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices include GST where applicable. Any delivery charges or other applicable fees will be shown before you complete checkout.
We may change prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected product and receive a refund.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are processed by Shopify or another authorised payment provider. We do not ordinarily receive or store your complete payment-card details.
You authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the total amount displayed at checkout.
If a payment is declined, reversed or identified as unauthorised, we may suspend or cancel the order.
8. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions and discount codes:
- are subject to any additional terms stated with the offer;
- must be used before their stated expiry date;
- cannot be exchanged for cash;
- may be limited to particular products or customers;
- may not be combined unless expressly permitted; and
- cannot ordinarily be applied retrospectively to a completed order.
We may withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, including where there is an error, fraud, misuse or a legal requirement to do so.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Delivery
Delivery areas, methods, charges and estimated timeframes are described on our Shipping Policy page or during checkout.
Delivery timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees. Delays may occur because of couriers, weather, public holidays, high order volumes, remote locations or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered the packing or dispatch process.
If a parcel is delayed, lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered, contact us with your order number and relevant information so that we can investigate.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Order changes and cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once it has entered the packing or dispatch process.
If the order has already been dispatched, it may need to be handled under our change-of-mind return process, subject to the conditions below.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a remedy if a product:
- is faulty or unsafe;
- is not of acceptable quality;
- is significantly different from its description or sample;
- is not fit for a purpose that you made known to us; or
- otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the problem, the available remedy may include a repair, replacement, refund or compensation as provided by law.
For a major failure, you may generally choose between a replacement and a refund. For a minor failure, we may be entitled to provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time.
These rights apply in addition to any voluntary change-of-mind policy or other warranty we provide.
12. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products
Contact us as soon as reasonably practicable if you believe a product is faulty, unsafe, damaged in transit, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
Please provide:
- your name and order number;
- a description of the problem;
- photographs of the product and packaging where reasonably available;
- the product batch number and best-before date where relevant; and
- any other information reasonably needed to assess the issue.
We may ask you to retain or return the product so that it can be inspected. We will provide reasonable return instructions where a return is required.
We may request proof of purchase, but this does not have to be the original receipt where another reasonable form of proof is available.
There is no three-day deadline for exercising rights under the Australian Consumer Law. However, contacting us promptly can help us investigate delivery damage, product quality concerns or packing errors.
Where the product fails an applicable consumer guarantee, we will provide the remedy required by law and reimburse reasonable return costs where applicable.
13. Change-of-mind returns
We may accept a return where you simply change your mind, provided that:
- you contact us within three days of delivery;
- the product is unopened, unused and in its original saleable packaging;
- seals and tamper-evident packaging remain intact;
- you provide proof of purchase;
- the product is not excluded from change-of-mind returns for hygiene, health or safety reasons; and
- you follow the return instructions provided by our team.
Change-of-mind returns are offered voluntarily and are separate from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Unless we agree otherwise:
- you are responsible for change-of-mind return delivery costs;
- original delivery charges are not refundable;
- the return remains your responsibility until received by us; and
- the product value will be refunded after the returned item has been received and assessed.
We reserve the right to decline a change-of-mind return where these conditions are not met.
14. Refund processing
Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method.
Once processed by us, a refund may take approximately 3–10 business days to appear, depending on your financial institution or payment provider.
We are not responsible for processing times imposed by banks or payment providers after a refund has been submitted.
15. Website accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login information;
- providing accurate and current information;
- activity carried out through your account; and
- notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate fraud, prevent misuse or comply with legal requirements.
16. Acceptable use
You must not use this website:
- for an unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
- to interfere with website operation or security;
- to introduce viruses, malware or harmful code;
- to gain unauthorised access to systems or information;
- to scrape, harvest or extract data using automated means without permission;
- to impersonate another person;
- to submit false reviews or information;
- to infringe another party’s intellectual-property or privacy rights; or
- to send unsolicited commercial messages or solicit goods or services through our customer-contact channels.
We may restrict access or take other reasonable action where these requirements are breached.
17. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website—including text, branding, logos, photographs, graphics, videos, audio, product descriptions, page layouts and downloadable materials—is owned by or licensed to My Detoxify and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and temporarily download website content for your personal, non-commercial use.
Without our prior written permission, you must not:
- copy, reproduce or republish website content;
- modify or create derivative works from it;
- use it for commercial purposes;
- upload or distribute it elsewhere;
- remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices; or
- use our trademarks, branding or product photographs in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
18. Reviews and user-submitted content
If you submit a review, image, comment or other content, you confirm that:
- it reflects your genuine experience;
- it is accurate and not misleading;
- you have the right to submit it;
- it does not infringe another person’s rights;
- it does not contain unlawful, defamatory, abusive or confidential material; and
- it does not contain prohibited or inappropriate health claims.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, moderate and display submitted content for our business and marketing purposes.
We may decline, edit or remove content where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, moderation or website-management purposes.
19. Third-party websites and services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services.
These links are provided for convenience. Unless expressly stated, we do not control or endorse third-party content, products, privacy practices or services.
Your dealings with a third party are subject to that party’s own terms and policies.
20. Website availability
We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may suspend, update or withdraw parts of the website for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons.
21. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable or was caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for following product labels and directions and for obtaining appropriate professional advice where needed.
This section does not limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.
22. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using the website, you acknowledge that personal information may be collected, used, stored and disclosed as described in that policy.
23. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that part will be interpreted or removed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
24. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we waive that right.
25. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applying in Queensland, Australia.
You and My Detoxify submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and any courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from exercising rights available under applicable consumer law.
